  • Macon Area Defense Supply Chain Mapping Meeting

    Presentations given by the US Department of Defense Office of Economic Adjustment (OEA) will provide and describe a tool for defense contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to diversify their businesses away from defense dependence, and inform and educate policy decision makers throughout the state so as to support defense diversification.  This defense mapping project has received broad support from the Missouri Military Preparedness and Enhancement Commission (MMPEC), and other businesses and organizations all across the state.

  • SOP Annual Meeting

    On Thursday, August 24, the SOP will host our Annual Meeting from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. at the Ark Community and Sports Center in Waynesville. 

    SOP members and regional stakeholders, as well as regional citizens are invited to attend.

    We will have national, state and regional leaders, as well as senior Fort Leonard Wood leaders updating us on events and actions impacting on the region and FLW.

    The meeting is free and includes a boxed lunch.
